RESEARCH
We collaborate with more than 90 different national and international research groups, and publish about 45 original articles/reviews in peer-reviewed international journals every year. All research activities in the department pivots on growth and reproduction. Examples are growth and growth disorders, normal and abnormal puberty, male infertility, testicular cancer, testicular dysgenesis syndrome (TDS) and endocrine disrupting chemicals. In short, we focus on how and to which extent the physiological functions of growth and repro-duction are sensitive to changes in hormones, genes, environmental factors and life style, as illustrated below. Details on and examples of individual research projects are described via the links to the left.
